Struan TeagueApril - July 2020

Struan Teague (b.1991 in Edinburgh, Scotland) lives and works in London. He got his bachelor degree in Fine Art from the Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design. His work has been exhibited in many countries, from Spain, Germany and Italy to Mexico and China. It is his first exhibition in Paris. Struan Teague’s characteristic abstract territories feature strong gestural strokes as well as pale, almost fading away lines. The artist embraces spontaneity and uncertainty; his favorite paintings are “the fastest ones which come as a total surprise”.  He likes to contradict himself with his process, trying to bring in contrasting forms of energy, movement and thinking.
